Head-on collision closes Highway 47 south of Forest Grove
Highway 47 was closed this afternoon near its intersection with Old Highway 47 south of Forest Grove starting around 4 p.m. because of a head-on car crash. Firefighters from Forest Grove and Gaston were on the scene.
Dave Nemeyer, spokesman for Forest Grove Fire & Rescue said two were injured in the crash, one person was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to OHSU. The other injured person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Tuality.
