Lunch with Banks schools chief

The United Methodist Women will host their annual Thanksgiving Senior Lunch on Wednesday, Nov. 4, noon to 1:30 p.m. at Banks Community United Methodist Church, located at 151 Depot St., Banks.

Seniors are invited to come meet the Banks School Superintendent, Jim Foster, enjoy a home-cooked meal, entertainment provided by children from St. Francis School and great fellowship. For more information, call the Banks Community United Methodist Church, 503-324-7711. The lunch is offered free three times a year, the first Wednesday of February, May and November.
